Aaron works from his studio in Whakatāne, Bay of Plenty. His art practice includes whakairo rakau (wood carving) and visual art. Aaron has gained a Certificate in Ngā Toi (Level 4) Whakairo at Northtec campus in Kerikeri, Northland.
Aaron's series of prints, Ngā Iwi e Ono o Mataatua, depict whakarei (details) and manaia (stylised figures) specific to each iwi (tribe) as well as a kaupapa (theme) about famous warriors from each iwi.

Printed on Linen paper and come with a clear plastic sleeve and a thick backing board to keep flat.
